Dear Ukrainians, We all know that August 24 is the Independence Day of Ukraine and every year since 1991 we celebrate it as a national holiday of Ukraine.
On this occasion, the Association of Women of Ukraine in Trieste (Associazione delle donne Ucraine a Trieste) is organizing a solemn meeting together with the parish of the Greek Catholic Church and with the participation of the Orthodox Church.
On August 24 at 10.00 a.m. in Piazza Unita.
So, a big request to all Ukrainians in Trieste to once again take to the streets of this city on this day in our beautiful embroidered shirts and once again declare in such a difficult time for Ukraine that Ukraine was, is and will be. And we, Ukrainians abroad, are always with Ukraine in our hearts, souls, thoughts, and deeds.
